The Robert and Shirley Dworsky Historical Website

Welcome to the Robert and Shirley Dworsky Historical Website. These two wonderful people, my parents, were loved and cherished by their families, friends, colleagues, and communities during their lifetimes and for decades after their passing. Being born in the 1920’s, there is very little to be found on the internet about their lives. So, my goal is to create a place where people can find Robert’s and Shirley’s biographical details, family trees and histories, lifetime accomplishments, photos, and other sentimental memories and stories. My respect and affection for Shirley and your family was very deep.

We've known your parents since before you were born. Wonderful people, and we were good friends. This brought back many great memories.

Clearly the Dworsky clan has a rich and storied history, very little of which I knew about prior to visiting this site. What a treasure!

For us, and me personally, Shirley and Anna were the two people who welcomed us to St. Paul in April 1966. I met Shirley and Anna when I volunteered for Hadassah. Shirley’s tireless and exemplary work was a true inspiration and, in countless ways, a “How to” guide on being a volunteer. The welcoming initiatives meant the world to us. That legacy is ongoing.

What a wealth of interesting family stories, this is going to make their entire mishpacha kvell!
